The EP

A 4 track EP that loosely touches on reclamation of space by using the gritty sounds that encompass the energy of nostalgic hip hop in NYC with an experimental edge.

The Caution Tape

A 5 song EP that delves into the double entendre of “taking up space” as a means of taking back what we’ve created and promoting autonomy and ownership within our communities as well as a means of exploring black futurism and the otherworldliness of urban black culture. This was accompanied by a blog style website that highlighted key points in the project.

A two day intensive with 3 young artists, ages 16-18. Through a series of workshops (creative writing, sound design, creative directing), we collaboratively explored what community could look like if we were the builders, grounding our exploration in the metaphoric context of “construction work”.
